 HealthcareRx Goals

We hope to encourage, support and promote change in our current U.S. healthcare policy. Many Americans are uninsured, underinsured or priced out of currently available plans that are prohibitively expensive and with high deductibles.

With dialogue and advocacy for change, we hope to encourage our lawmakers to engage in creating healthcare policies which will benefit all citizens equally. In adopting a better healthcare policy, we can save Americans from financial ruin due to health crises. A change in policy could also potentially save tens of thousands of lives per year. Another benefit would be that the U.S. could effectively save taxpayers approximately 2 - 5 trillion dollars over a decade.

Educating voters about the different types of Universal Healthcare is one of our top priorities. An informed electorate is the most effective way to achieve change in governmental policy. We hope that you will take part in our effort to encourage the government to enact necessary changes which will ultimately create a healthier and happier nation.

A Right To Medical Care

In 1948 the United Nations developed a UN Declaration Of Human Rights. Article 25 of that declarations states the following:

"Article 25 74 1. Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.

75 2. Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection.
